The inaugural Island Park Blues Festival will be held on the banks of the beautiful Willamette River in Springfield, Oregon, on August 9 and 10, 2013. IPBF will also feature the first annual 5k/10k “Blues Cruz Run” on Saturday morning, starting and finishing at Island Park. We’re next door to Eugene and easy to get to from I-5.

The headliners on Rooster's Main Stage presented by Bigfoot Beverages/Hop Valley Brewing Company are the legendary, high powered horn band Lydia Pense & Cold Blood on Friday evening, and multiple BMA Award winner Kenny Neal on Saturday night.
The Mac's Nightclub Stage, at 1626 Willamette Street, will feature the original Rooster's Blues Jam Friday and Saturday nights, with a performance by Who's Who of NW talent. You never know who'll be stopping by. 9:30pm-1:30am, NO COVER CHARGE.
Grammy winning guitarist Ken Emerson will bring his incredible blend of blues and Hawaiian music in a Saturday afternoon “Blues Luau” complete with southern comfort food and Hawaiian dishes to choose from, hula dancers and lessons. Ever seen blues slide ukulele?
You’ll be immersed in all styles of blues music -- from roots tunes on handmade instruments up through high voltage progressive tunes. Multiple generations of performers will join us with elders like king of the buskers Eagle Park Slim and 14 year old sensation Savanna Coen.
Beer, wine and hard cider will be available, along with delicious food and non-alcoholic beverages. Our “Artisans Row” will offer up all sorts of art work and crafts. Sign up as a crafts vendor through our Vendors Page. Non-profit booths will be on hand to give you all a chance to see how else you can pitch in and help some worthy local causes.
IPBF is a family friendly, community based event -- we will have a KidSpace area on Saturday, where families can enjoy activities such as face painting, balloon art and music at no charge.
